Bennde Mutale is the last village on the northern road into the Kruger National Park, settled in the most north-eastern corner of South Africa. Being cornered off by the nature reserve on one side and Zimbabwe on the other the community of Bennde Mutale is marginalised.
Increasingly the region is experiencing more variable climatic conditions, from floods to droughts, due to global warming. In response the Bennde Mutale Theatre Group established to tell their story of the climate change impacts they are facing.
This is a documentary on a community vulnerable to climate change, and telling their own story through theatre.
