BEAUTY AND CHAOS: The Story Of A Musical Moment.

This short film attempts to document the musical philosophy that drives a collection of HULL musicians known as Scheißegeld. This musical project began as a flexible 'studio only' collaboration involving between three and four musicians but in January 2015 the band decided to perform in public for the first time as a SEVEN piece group. The debut gig at The Hull Adelphi was the first time that all seven members of the band had played together. The band have an interesting creative philosophy and this film attempts to document this musical philosophy and also document the debut live performance.

Scheißegeld includes the Hull musician and producer Steve Cobby who was half of HULL duo FILA BRAZILLIA. Fila Brazillia enjoyed huge success as a key feature of Hull's Pork Recordings label and were an active creative force between the years 1991/2004. Steve is a central figure in Scheißegeld and the film contains interviews with Steve and other members of Scheißegeld.
