Moving beyond fossil fuels to an economy powered by clean energy has the potential to nurture our communities, create meaningful sustainable jobs, protect our land and water and safeguard our children's future. A 'just transition' means ensuring that we don't leave vulnerable communities behind in the process, but develop new economies that better support people and the planet. Already this process is underway – in communities, backyards and boardrooms as citizens, governments and business unite to build a new, just and clean energy economy. Join us to hear from local Australian experts in conversation with leading US economist Bob Massie, who will address the rapid progress of change globally and the opportunities for Australia to create a strong and stable economic future with a just transition that supports jobs, communities and our environment.
