In Lebanon thousands of migrant domestic workers are living in semi slavery conditions and without any proper legal protection. Human Right Watch has pointed out that, since 2007, an average of two women a week commit suicide. Through the stories of women who succeed in emancipate themselves and of the work of associations in defense of migrants' rights, the documentary analyzes a delicate and little-known issue of Lebanon and Middle East, where today however a radical positive change is at hand, thanks to the commitment of the Lebanese civil society and the new generations.
