A group of students from the American International School (AISB) of Bamako prepares to head out to Dogon country in northern Mali. AISB is located in Bamako, Mali.
This is the fun of studying at an international school. Most of the kids on this trip are 12-14. With a couple of chaperons and some luggage, they all head off for an adventure in Africa.
This bus was way overloaded and actually broke down on the way to Dogon country. The bus company had to send out a replacement van.
The kids witnessed first hand the Dogon culture through music, dance, and food. Pretty amazing!
