I produced this by shooting stills on a tripod every 3 seconds and then editing the files together in a sequence using Quicktime Pro.
Canon 5D (original)
Canon Timer Remote Controller TC-80N3
16-35mm 2.8L lens @ 16mm on all scenes except the last 2.
Zenitar 16mm Fisheye used on the last 2 scenes.
Shots were taken using the remote controller every 3 seconds. I recorded small jpegs which produce a file size of 2496x1664.
Images are copied to a folder and then you launch Quicktime Pro. Go to File/Open Image Sequence and select the first image in the sequence. Quicktime will build a video at the original size.
Then the videos are imported into Adobe Premiere Pro and added to the timeline. The files are larger than the 1920x1080 frame space so you can then use keyframes to create the "movement" effect that is most noticeable in the scenes where the ship deck is visible although every scene has a slight movement except for the first one.
