My brothers, Jeffrey and Michael, and I created this video to celebrate the extraordinarily wonderful, beautiful and sacred life of our Mom, Faye.
These are but a few precious moments of her life that we wish to celebrate and to share upon her passing, on Tuesday, 10 November 2009.
We feel your absence every minute of the day, Mom.
You are so loved (more than Love)! Gregory
Faye Chapman, 71 , of Wesley Chapel, Florida, departed peacefully, at her home Tuesday, November 10, 2009, surrounded by her loving family.
Faye was born September 20, 1938, in Blytheville, Arkansas, the first of five children born to Iva Mae and James Kendrick Davis. Faye supported her community as a registered nurse for more than 50 years, the past 20 of which included working at the James Haley Veterans Administration Hospital and SafePlace Mental Health Center of Tampa Bay. And, owing to her love of our country, Faye also gave her attention to still others in need by serving as a captain in the Army Reserve.
Faye was preceded by her father, James Kendrick Davis, her devoted brother, Danny, and her darling sister, Sandra Kay. Faye is survived by her mother, Iva Mae and her three devoted sons, Jeffrey of Odessa, Texas, Gregory of Brussels, Belgium, and Michael of Tampa Bay; her devoted brother and sister, Stan Davis and Jo Ann Buley; her grand-children, Shawn, Donald, Mercedes, Joseph and Jennifer, of Odessa, Texas; and Jonathan-Battista, Niccolo-Sebastian and Sofia-Faye of Brussels, Belgium.
