￼Mr. Fell is a Principal in the Actuarial, Rewards and Analytics practice of Deloitte Consulting and is the leader of the Property/Casualty Actuarial practice. He has over 25 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry.
Bruce joined Deloitte in 2014 after nine years as a managing director with Towers Watson where he held numerous leadership roles within the Risk Consulting and Software business including property and casualty practice leader and east division leader. Prior to joining Towers Watson, Mr. Fell held a variety of actuarial and consulting positions within company, brokerage and consulting environments including as a senior vice president and chief actuary for a U.S. reinsurance intermediary where he was responsible for structured reinsurance and actuarial services. Prior to that, Bruce was a consulting actuary with a boutique M&A consulting firm and a Big 4 firm specializing in M&A due diligence, reinsurance, loss reserving and operational improvement consulting for reinsurers, insurers, law firms, investment firms and self-insured entities. Prior to entering consulting, he worked for Munich Re America where his responsibilities included loss reserving, asset/liability management, financial and tax planning and commutation analysis and negotiation.
Mr. Fell specializes in reinsurance, enterprise risk management, mergers and acquisitions and strategic guidance for insurance and reinsurance companies. Over the course of his career, Bruce has led a variety of assignments, including operational improvement assignments, insurance and reinsurance reserve reviews, pricing model development, assistance with enterprise risk management strategy and implementation and merger & acquisition advisory services.
