Every story has a beginning...
In the late 1950's, before preaching a sermon one evening, Ken was handed a letter about the people of Southeast Asia. So moved by the letter he handed it to his wife Ruth and did his best to preach his sermon.
On their way home from church that evening Ruth broke the silence by simply saying, "We must go."
With that, the Rideout's sold most of their possessions and traveled the U.S. seeking support from friends and congregations. In 1958 Ken, Ruth and their four small children relocated to Bangkok, Thailand for a journey that brings us to the present.
