Mosasaurus

Permanent exhibition at the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences, Brussels.

"Mosasaurus" is a full CGI film that aims to illustrate Mosasaurus swimming mechanics, based on current scientific understanding.

Mosasaurus was a gigantic predatory lizard from the Upper Cretaceous, 67 million years ago. We worked closely with professor Nathalie Bardet, paleontology expert at the Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle in Paris to get the swimming motion within scientific constraints.

The film is a permanent feature of the new Mosasaurus hall at the Museum Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences, Brussels.
