Performance by J.R. Uretsky (Artist) and Emily Dix Thomas (Cellist)
Visual artist J.R. Uretsky has teamed up with cellist Emily Dix Thomas to create an affective experience specifically to encourage CAA conference attendees, feminists, artists and educators. This new work is titled Encouragements with Dave and is a short performance that pairs contemporary cello music and abstract puppetry to highlight interpersonal intimacy.
