Scientists from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) in Belgium talk about their research for the IceCon project. In this video, they share their experiences after returning from the Princess Elisabeth Antarctica station during the 2014-15 field season, where they spent three weeks on the King Baudouin Ice Shelf to extract ice cores and make a series of measurements and observations. They explain the importance of their research - to better understand climate history - and show us exactly how they analyze ice cores in their laboratory.
