Nordic Spaces is an international research programme joining 44 scholars from 11 countries in a large scale collaborative effort to understand the formation of the Nordic region from historical, political, scientific, cultural and technological perspectives. It is funded by a consortia of Nordic research agencies, including The Riksbankens Jubileumsfond, The Foundation for Baltic and East European Studies, The Royal Swedish Academy of Letters, History and Antiquities, The Society of Swedish Literature in Finland, The Foundation for Swedish Culture in Finland, The Finnish Cultural Foundation, The Estonian Science Foundation and Nordforsk.
