Celtic Surprise Description:
After desert, the lights dim, the haunting sounds of ancient Celtic music can be heard echoing in the room. Cloaked figures carrying candles move mysteriously through the crowd. They come to a stop at our pre set tables ( specially reinforced 5ft or 6ft round tables).
Once they are in place, the cloaked figures take up their crouched positions on the cleared tables. Once the cloaked figures are set the bodhran player come in to do a solo piece, followed by a bit of audience clapping participation.
At a set point the cloaked figures will stand up revealing male dancers who will dance along to the bodhran.
Next we introduce the Celtic Drummer who will do a drum v Bodhran trade off followed by a Irish dance trade off.
At this point we will introduce female dancers to join in and finish with an extremely fast A Capella piece.
