After the world premiere of the documentary feature film, "Landfill Harmonic", the SXSW audience in Austin was treated to a partial performance of Pachelbel's Canon. Rousing applause from a loving crowd and the movie is pretty good too. If you are wondering why the sound is a little tinny, consider the fact that all of the instruments are made from materials found in the Paraguay's largest landfill. The fine tuner is made from kitchen forks and the belly is recycled tin ! "Landfill Harmonic"is directed by Brad Algood and produced by Juliana Penaranda-Loftus.
