Allan Zola Kronzek is a close-up magician, writer, and student of magic history. He frequently performs in schools, colleges, libraries and community centers, presenting programs on the History of Magic as a Performing Art, Magic and the Scientific Method, and the Origins of Magic Lore. He is the author of four magic-centric books: the New York Times bestseller The Sorcerer's Companion-A Guide to the Magical World of Harry Potter; 52 Ways to Cheat at Poker (How to Spot Them Foil Them, and Protect Yourself Against Them); A Book of Magic for Young Magicians—The Secrets of Alkazar, and the forthcoming The Book of Powers—Secrets of the Hocus Pocus Project, to be published in association with The Conjuring Arts Research Center. He is a graduate of Bard College, and lives in Sag Harbor, NY.
