A short timelapse of the 20 March 2015 Solar Eclipse, as seen from Gulberwick in the Shetland Islands, UK. The eclipse here resulted in about 97% of the surface of the Sun being obscured by the Moon, which was a fantastic sight. Unfortunately the weather here has somewhat challenging, so there are sections missing due to cloud hiding the view of some parts of the show. However, and luckily, the mid eclipse was mostly visible. Apologies for the jerkiness, this is partly due to trying to combine the images from 2 different camera/ lens combinations (filtered and unfiltered), which I had to use because of the rapdliy changing visibility.
