Time magazine heralds Deepak Chopra as one of the top 100 heroes and icons of the century and credits him as “the poet-prophet of alternative medicine.” Chopra is known as the prolific author of more than 56 books translated into 35 languages, including numerous New York Times best-sellers. Many also know him from his regular work with PBS, including The Happiness Prescription and Body, Mind, and Soul: The Mystery and The Magic.
Chopra is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, a member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, adjunct professor at Kellogg School of Management, and senior scientist with The Gallup Organization. He is founder of The Chopra Center, which aims to bridge the technological miracles of the West with the wisdom of the East, changing the way we view mind-body medicine and physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and social wellness.
