This is the opening sequence of a scene I shot for my film school based on Edna O'Brien's play "Virginia" which portrays the last days of Virginia Woolf.
Vita and Virginia have just returned from a literary party boasting guests ranking as high as T.S. Eliot himself.
This is the first time Virginia has been left alone for the night by her carrying husband Leonard who had business of the utmost importance to attend to.
Vita decided to accept Virginia's invitation and spend the night over.
