Still/bewegt is a piece created together with Anni Küpper that resulted from a one-week
residency hosted by Pépinières Européennes pour Jeunes Artistes in the former studios of filmmaker Georges Meliers in Paris Montreuil. This first collaboration joins a multichannel auditory experience with juggling performance.
For this piece, a six-channel electroacoustic work was diffused from speakers arranged in three columns, which was both influenced and matched by the choreography of Anni Küpper's club manipulation. Through the play with suspension and acceleration they trigger a shifted perception of time. Both composition and performance establish an organic texture inside of their synthetic universe.
