More than three kilometers from the research base and suspended two meters above the jungle floor, a crees Foundation team is settling in for the night. They can see the stars shining through the dome-shaped netting of the canopy tent; there’s no need for a rain cover tonight. And if they dare to unzip the triangular floor entrance, they’ll see the boots and socks they left on the ground below covered in a heaving mass of army ants. Any foreign object is fair game in the Amazon.
As if a night in the jungle wasn't exciting enough, being in a Tentsile Stingray Tree Tent made the experience that much more spectacular and novel. After all, the canopy tent is the outdoor enthusiast’s version of a pillow fort!
Here's a short video from our night out on expedition.
