'Only God Knows' from duo debut folk album 'Songs Around The Kitchen Table' by Swedish/Welsh duo Ida Kristin & David Llewellyn based in Nashville TN
About the song
As we sat down to write 'Only God Knows', we wanted to bring up the big questions in the world - about the relationship between people and between man and nature - about love and respect. Issues that harken back to the old ”protest songs”, but are even more pressing now. The perspective is from human frailty and struggle, but we wanted to highlight the awe-inspiring beauty and wonder of it all, so that you come out of the song with a sense of love for this planet that we're all a part of .
”Life begins and ends in tears, and quite a struggle while we’re here - then why so precious? Only God Knows”.
