The UN Guiding Principles Reporting Framework, the world's first comprehensive guidance for companies to report on how they respect human rights, was launched in London in February 2015. Over 175 people attended the event featuring Professor John Ruggie, author of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, Jo Swinson MP, UK Minister for Employment Relations and Consumer Affairs, and Marcela Manubens, Global VP for Social Impact at Unilever. The event was moderated by Richard Howitt MEP, EU Special Rapporteur for CSR and also included remarks from project partners Phil Verity of Mazars and Caroline Rees of Shift.
