On April 11th, 2015, Vancouverites took to the streets in solidarity with Quebec City to send a message to the federal government in anticipation to the April 14th summit dedicated to Climate Change. The message was simple and clear: WE need to stand up and show that we care about this planet and our future generations.
Even though the rally began outside the CBC building on Hamilton street, the mainstream media was absent from this march all the way down to English Bay, where there had been a recent oil spill. The water was an unnaturally metallic silver hue, but there was hope, love and a warrior spirit in the air.
I decided I wanted to help tell this story, so I brought a camera.
This is my impression of that day.
