Steven Greenberg gave this first preview of the DataPortability Project's Portability Policy to the Ninth Internet Identity Workshop 03 November 2009 at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California. In this 13 minute talk, he describes problems of data portability, introduces the idea of disclosing a site's data portability practices through a Portability Policy, and introduces a structured questionnaire to assure coverage and comparability of a new portability policy.
