Chloë Dirksen, born Chloë Peterson, grew up in Toronto, the middle child between two brothers, with an actress/writer mother and a politician father. Chloe received a BA from the University of Toronto in English Literature and Linguistics, and completed the 2 year Professional Actors’ Workshop at Broadway’s Circle in the Square. She started her career in Canada, appearing in everything from pantomime to Shakespeare. In 2005, she met Colton Dirksen, a San Franciscan Internet executive living in NYC. They were married soon after. Spending weekends at their home in Sag Harbor, they fell in love with the full-time dream Soon with two young sons, living in Sag Harbor as a stay-at-home mom was heavenly, and didn’t look anything like her former life as a traveling stage actor. In 2012 Chloe heard that Bay Street Theater was producing The Crucible… and there began a relationship that has seen her work in 4 Bay Street productions in the past 2 years. Parrish members, you may recognize Chloe from this past summer’s sold-out production of Kurt Vonnegut’s Galapagos, where she created the role of Mary.
