This sermon is based on John 6:28-25, "Jesus said to them, 'I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.'” Here we hear a word about a feast at a huge table with all kinds of non-self-sufficient people sitting around it, people needing one another, all invited by Jesus and dependent upon him for life and health, for bearing burdens, and, like Jesus did, welcoming all others to the table.
