In May 2010, my friends Linda, Kathy, Jim, Alan, Mike and I traveled the lower Colorado River with the Arizona River Runners. We departed Las Vegas by airplane and landed at the Bar Ten Dude Ranch about 30 minutes later located in a remote area north of the Grand Canyon in a region called the Arizona Stip.
While at the Bar Ten Ranch we went horseback riding, skeet shooting, and ATV riding. The next morning we flew by helicopter to the bottom of the canyon and met our rafting crew. We then departed and traveled 110 miles down the Colorado River to Lake Mead. Along the way we encountered rapids, ancient lava flows, 5000' cliffs, along with beautiful clear water streams and waterfalls. After overnighting along the river shore we ultimately made it back to Las Vegas via Hoover dam by jetboat and bus. Great Trip...enjoy
