In 2000, Coille McLaughlin Hooven exhibited "Big Foot Teapot" (LACMA permanent collection) in the Color and Fire: Defining Moments in Studio Ceramics exhibition at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. A number of artists in the exhibition were interviewed in their studios. When the crews from LACMA came to Berkeley for interviews, Coille was not available. She later, flew down to Los Angeles for this interview. This is an edited version of the original interview.
