Camp Muir is the major base camp for guided climbs of Mt. Rainier (14,410'). Situated at 10,100' this spot has a public shelter, a guide shelter, solar toilets and a shelter for NPS rangers. On April 19, 2015 I mounted a GoPro Hero3 on my shoulder strap and set it up to record 1 photo per second. Starting at Paradise (5400') I did a continuous 2 hour 55 minute push to Camp Muir (10,100'), recording 40,822 photos and assembled them into this time lapse. This hike looks benign on a beautiful day like this but the viewer should be cautioned that people have perished on this hike in bad weather. Enjoy!
