The critically acclaimed author and highly-decorated retired Justice Department official Andrew C. McCarthy talked about how the global Islamist movement's jihad involves far more than just terrorist attacks. The title of his new book is The Grand Jihad: How Islam and the Left Sabotage America.
Andrew C. McCarthy is a former federal prosecutor and a contributing editor with National Review Online. He co-chairs the Center for Law and Counterterrorism, a joint project of FDD and the National Review Institute, where he also serves as a senior fellow. Mr. McCarthy is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Justice Department's highest honors: the Attorney General's Exceptional Service Award (1996) and Distinguished Service Award (1988). He writes extensively on a variety of legal, social and political issues for National Review and Commentary, among other publications, as well as providing commentary for various television and radio broadcasts.
