This modern day fairy tale was inspired by the works of experimental filmmaker and choreographer Maya Deren while also pulling imagery from the Demeter myth and the Visitation to Mary. Filmed with a Bolex on 16mm, it combines the worlds of analog and digital using both in-camera effects and NLE editing. It is Rick Hamilton’s first film short.
