Left Coast is an all estate vineyard and winery in Oregon's Willamette Valley. We are committed to the creation of handcrafted Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Gris. The vineyards are situated directly on the 45th parallel with 132 acres under cultivation. Planting on varying soils, elevations and slopes contribute to the complexities and subtleties of our wines. The cool Pacific Ocean breezes driven into the Willamette Valley through the Van Duzer Corridor moderate our sunny summer days. It is this precise combination of geography and geology that gives our wines a distinct sense of place.
The other 220 acres of the estate consist of old growth oak forests and a large lake that act as a green belt for local vegetation and wildlife. The body of water attracts migrating birds and encourages birds of prey, helping to balance animal life in the vineyards. Producing our wine sustainably is a core value of the entire operation. We are low input LIVE certified (liveinc.org/) and the winery is entirely solar powered.
