Driving through a busy street in Jaipur I focused my camera on a group of local women and a child in the back of a jeep. There's something about experiencing this casual, trivial moment unfolding in their lives that seemed poignant to me. Certainly later, whilst watching the footage, I couldn't bring myself to edit it together with anything else.
I love the clothes they're wearing, the intensity of their eyes and how different they are from me - most of all I liked the fact that - I was watching them, and they were watching me.
