Peter cares for his grandfather Charles, who suffers from Alzheimer's disease. Through a series of flashbacks he realizes the effects the disease has taken on their relationship.

Adapted from "Best Friends" an essay written by Peter Charles Lind, in honor and memory of Charles Racansky.

Personal Note from the director:

I made this film in 2009-2010. It was made in honor of my grandfather, someone my whole family looked up to. He passed away on 2/5/2008. "Best Friends" Screened at several festivals including Blue Whiskey Independent Film Festival, Naperville Independent Film Festival, and Take 1 Film Festival (Columbia College Chicago), where it won the "Jury Award".

This film has not yet been released to the public. I'm releasing it in honor and memory of my grandfather. Not a day goes by that I don't think about the memories he's left with me, and the influences he's made on my life. I hope that others can relate to this film, and that it can help others cope as it has helped my family.
