Skiing the beautiful Nort East face of Les Courtes in perfect conditions. This is one of the true classics of steep skiing in Chamonix, a 5.2 face that involves an important angle (48-50°) for 700m. In perfect conditions it is a feast and one of the best ski descents, but in hard snow, the story is quite different. We found the face covered in fresh deep snow and not a soul apart from us. It was set to be fantastic and after the tiresome ascent we recieved the reward! Enjoy!
