The weather Sunday morning was wonderful! The whole state reported clear skies. We left KCUB around 7:30 and, when we contacted Shaw, they tell us that both KCRE and KMYR are IFR. Whaaa?? This was starting to feel like our trip to Broxton Bridge; however, we (and Gerald behind us) pressed on with the belief that the fog was due to coastal proximity and that it would burn off by the time we got there. Sure enough, that is exactly what happened! Close to 20 airplanes made it in to Hardee for breakfast - along with a gentleman who had been trying for 10 years to attend and finally earned his lifetime membership status!
