A female sea duck works along the beach in shallow water in a big southeast gale. There were Common Scoters, Buffleheads, and Harlequins along here, but only female. The males were probably all hanging out on a rock, talking about all the rough water they've handled. She just gets under before the wave breaks. This might be a female Harlequin, guessing by the tail position. Tail attitude, they all have their tails in the same place.
