Cenote Uxuxubi is the entrance to a beautiful cave system in a remote Mexican village. The cave has originally been explored in 2009 and during a survey project in 2015 local GUE divers discovered a lot more cave passages together with a previously unknown cenote.
Sistema Uxuxubi is now just under 6000 feet long and the team is currently continuing exploration and detailed mapping of sistema Uxuxubi deep in the Mexican jungle. The cave has many unique features from dark tunnels with black walls to white domelike chambers full of cave formations animal bone sites as well as ancient fire pits.
A big thx to Ramon, his family, Miguel Pani, Juan Pablo Cruz. and the people of the village of Uxuxubi for their ongoing support.
