The Calbuco Volcano is one of the most dangerous volcanoes in Chile, is located in the Tenth Region of the Lakes. The nearest urban centers are Ensenada, Cochamo, Puerto Varas and Puerto Montt.
After 43 years, precisely on April 22, 2015 the volcano erupt again, ash filling the most nearby towns such as Ensenada and Cochamó. The ashes have caused various problems including neighboring countries like Argentina and Uruguay. Today the continuous activity on a smaller scale and obviously can not predict how long.
