Inspired by a true story, “Rag Doll” is an edgy, thought-provoking short film about a woman who desperately wants to experience and believe in the redemptive healing power of love, and so stays married to a husband who, with equal desperation, uses her love to deny his same sex attraction. In the destructive chaotic process, she loses herself as she aches for her husband's masculine love and his validation of her feminine worth and beauty. And yet, she tries fiercely to convince herself, and others, that this is real love – to know another’s damage, deny yourself, and love them anyway.
