At 6 months of age Snow is like any other young pup: full of energy, testing the boundaries, learning the ways of the doggy world. But Snow is unlike many other dogs....he is deaf. As a rescue dog he has also developed some unwanted behaviours that mean placing him up for adoption is just not possible at the moment.
So we decided to foster him and give him the chance he needs, not only to help try and resolve those unwanted behaviours but to train him to respond to hand and light signals. Week 1, his rehabilitation and training has begun straight away. Whilst Snow is deaf there is nothing wrong with his vocal cords! Snow is learning about a new way to live, without an over-attachment to humans and how much better it can be.
