Danny Meyers is a longtime labor advocate, criminal defense lawyer, and member of the NLG-NYC Chapter since 1968.
In this installment of the NLG's "Speaking Freely" video series, Danny recounts how childhood influences led to becoming a people's lawyer, his 29-year-long fight with other Guild members in seeking justice for inmates at Attica Prison, and leading a new generation of NLG-NYC members in the ongoing struggle against the 1%.
