A remarkable story is unfolding in Flint. Devastated by the collapse of the auto industry, Flint has defied the traditional approaches to urban redevelopment...until now. A small group of neighborhood activists are finding promising pathways when they link and leverage the assets within their networks.
Using the discipline of Strategic Doing, they are inspiring "what's next" for Flint's neighborhoods. Finding new pathways. Moving away from old patterns. In the words of one activist, "With Strategic Doing, we have broken our grant addiction."
