Digital Dreamer is a whimsical interactive installation created by members of the Austin Interactive Installation Meetup specifically for Austin Mini Maker Faire 2015. The visual centerpiece of the installation is a 15ft by 8ft projection mapped mural of a sleeping Rip Van Winkle.
Maker Faire attendees could interact with the display in a couple of ways. Spinning the clock dial shifted the scene from day to night and back again. Touching the four conductive paint disks triggered peekaboo animations such as shy tree owls, flying elephants, a water monster, or a mischievous gnome.
