"It's really easy to look at the very basic things of what you need and try to cut everything else out," says Mary Kershisnik '15. "But if you cut everything out, you end up with this blank, empty, and dull existence, which is something I'd like to change."
A Business major at USF, Mary believes in a subtle balance between her school work and passion for art. Drawing inspiration from her family of twelve and an unusual encounter with a goat, she's now illustrating and publishing her very own children's book, set to come out this upcoming summer.
