Mac is a female-to-male (FTM) transgender individual who decides to come out at work and begin the process of gender transition. Mac battles the roadblocks that remain within him and others, and ends up transforming and touching the lives of everyone he encounters.
The short film is 22-minutues in length, and is followed by a 1-minute speech given by Dr. Katharine Campbell, LCSW, on the importance of transgender equality in the workplace, for a total viewing time of 24 minutes.

As humans progress though life, we face the inevitable challenge of holding onto, or letting go, of our convictions, traditions, and general attitudes. With the ever-increasing spotlight on the plight of the transgender individual undergoing transition, leaders are tasked with creating strategic business decisions that remain fiscally sound, functionally efficient, and authentically diverse. Effective diversity leaders develop this authentic performance through open relationships that show sensitivity to individual differences, and are held accountable for the effective development of them; however, there is still much need for improvement in assisting individuals who are transgender or gender variant in the workplace. Being Transgressive intends to address just that.
