The Last Dragging Woman is a sculpture for performance that consists of seven life size sculptures that I carry around. They are made of a metal infrastructure with carved foam and cast arms and hands, feet and heads. Their hair is real. The soundtrack is of 4 generations of women in my family who speak of generational patterns. My voice reads my dream book. This work in part received a Franklin Furnace Fund, West Virginia Culture and History Grant and a Puffin Grant.
