A couple, who live on a large remote wheat farm in Kansas, not only have their hands full with operating a huge farm, they are also saving historic buildings from destruction. They have moved and restored two one room school houses, the farm house in which they live (all built in the 1800s) and they are in the process of saving and moving another historic 1800s school house. The Brunhoebers give living history tours to school children in the area. This is a small glimpse into their life and was shot during my visit there the first part of May. Shooting was in between tornado warnings and the trick riding lessons that I was actually brought to Kansas to give. I just knew bringing my camera gear would be a good idea as their story is pretty awesome and unique!
