Time Code 9733 is a dance/film/installation project, in which choreographer Andrea K. Schlehwein and her team lay forth a complex choreographic structure involving 5 dancers and performers in an elaborate arrangement of spaces, movements, sounds and media images.
The performance unfolds in 2 spaces of contrasting design, one dark and mystical, the other bright and airy. The public is invited to move freely inside and outside these rooms as in an exhibition.
This new creation of the international collective NETZWERK AKS combines dance, film and performance with contributions of artists from Austria, Greece, Germany, Korea and Belgium.
”Chains of events, mystical agreement, codex, modern ritual or oath? A microcosm where all kinds of information, news images and headlines, memories, archaic myths, scraps of sounds, time displays and numbers, loose words and philosophical rudiments meet by chance.
Dancing bodies move between two rooms, cameras document what's happening in the unreal macrocosm called “world”, split up into simultaneously occurring microcosms, with live connections to the world wide web.“ (AKS)
